D·Diary: Life Coordinates is a personal journaling app developed by Gongming Liu (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use D·Diary and contact support.
You choose what to record. Your journal may include Life Coordinate titles and dates, written entries, moods, tags, photos, audio, video, locations you add, and technical information used to organize your memories. This information is stored on your device. When you use iCloud features, journal information and attachments may also be stored and synchronized through Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services associated with your Apple Account.
We do not operate a separate D·Diary account system or a developer-operated server for your journal. We do not receive your journal content merely because you use the app. D·Diary does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising, and does not sell your personal information.
D·Diary uses the system photo picker for media you select. Camera and microphone permissions support taking photos and recording audio or video. Location permission supports adding your current location to an entry when you choose that feature. You can decline permissions and continue using text-journaling features, and change permissions in iOS Settings.
If you purchase Pro access, Apple processes the payment. D·Diary uses Apple’s StoreKit to check purchase status and determine which features are available, including subscription expiration or revoked purchases. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account password. Apple may provide sales and financial reports to the developer.
When you export or share journal content, you choose where the files go through system interfaces. Exported copies may contain private text, media, and locations. The services or people you choose to share with handle those copies under their own practices. We do not automatically send your journal to advertisers or data brokers.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, troubleshoot problems, and maintain support correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and applicable obligations. Please avoid sending private journal entries, passwords, or payment details. Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store correspondence. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Journal content remains on your device and, where applicable, in iCloud until you delete it or manage the associated storage. The app provides controls to delete entries and Life Coordinates. Deletions may take time to synchronize. Removing the app does not necessarily delete iCloud data or exported backups. Manage exported copies and cloud storage separately, and make a backup before deleting data you may want to retain.
Apple handles information required for iCloud, App Store, and operating-system services under its own Privacy Policy. Your Apple privacy and diagnostics settings may affect information Apple collects or shares with developers.
This support website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as your IP address and request information to operate and secure the website, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement. We do not add advertising, tracking pixels, or analytics scripts to these pages.
D·Diary relies on Apple platform storage and data-protection technologies. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device, Apple Account, and exported backups.
D·Diary is a general-audience journaling tool and is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children’s journal content on our own servers. If a child has sent personal information through support, a parent or guardian can contact us.
We may revise this policy as the app changes. Updated versions will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
